Story 1 – Children of the Corn… and connectivity issues

Imagine this: your vehicles are out in the field, in remote rural areas with spotty cell service. Suddenly, communication drops, and you lose track of your assets. It’s a scenario that can make any fleet manager’s blood run cold. 

But what’s happening out among the cornfields? 

It was Halloween, and there was a lone delivery van on a dirt road. John was behind the wheel, ready to finish his route as the skies darkened, oblivious to the chilling events about to unfold.  

John saw a boy emerge from the cornfield, which made him hit the brakes. The boy didn’t move, so John creeps the van closer, putting his window down. 

“Need some help?” John asked. 

The boy didn’t say anything, and suddenly a group of children came from the cornfield and joined him.  

John grabbed for his phone, but he didn’t have any service. He quickly put his window up as the kids surrounded his van, rocking it back and forth. 

But…what if John were being tracked? What if his dispatcher knew where he was? What if they had invested in GPS Insight tracking solutions?

He drove wildly, starting in wooded areas, across the highway, into traffic, cutting off other drivers, laughing the entire way. Triggering an alert as he exited the geofenced area around his path of trajectory. 

“I’m Beetlejuice, the ghost with the most!” he cackled. 

“That van is possessed!” she said, her eyes watching the erratic movements on the screen.  

Sarah got down to business. She checked the erratic driving patterns, confirming her suspicions of supernatural interference. She alerted the police, who thanks to her tracking information, were able to find exactly where Beetlejuice was driving. 

Beetlejuice had underestimated the power of GPS Insight. 

As the police closed in, suddenly the van came to a halt. They approached it, and there was no Beetlejuice.

Story 3 – The Blair Witch Project: A tracking tragedy averted

Heather, Josh, and Mike, armed with their camera, ventured into the woods, determined to find out more about the legend of the Blair Witch.  

Unfortunately, their search took a desperate turn as they became more and more frightened…and lost. 

As they tried to find their way out, they seemed to be in a maze. As night fell, they became more and more convinced they were not alone. 

Then, Josh disappeared. One minute he was there, arguing with Heather, the next, he was gone. 

Heather, camera still rolling, captured what followed – she and Mike found an abandoned house, and inside they found strange symbols. The camera captured their terrified faces and their screams.  

The video ended abruptly, leaving their whereabouts a mystery.  

But what if things had been different? What if…they had GPS Insight? 

Imagine if Heather, Josh, and Mike had tacked a tracker onto their video equipment or car. Their location would have been recorded, their movements tracked in real-time, a digital breadcrumb trail marking their path.
